Chapter Twenty One- Know Your Worth

If you've been keeping up with these chapters, then you know that there was a dark part of my life where I battled depression. At this point in my life, I am determined to change my own life for the better. I want better for all of us. For those of us who have ever felt less than great, this chapter is for you. I want to tell you something extremely important: Sometimes all you have to do is forget what you feel and remember what you deserve.

Whatever battles you are facing- you can get through them. Whoever says you can’t do something- prove them wrong. Whatever self doubts you have- cast them away and don’t look back. Don’t ever look back. Don’t apologize for any mistakes you’ve made, because you’ve learned from each one. You’re growing and you’re making the best sense of life that you can. It’s okay to fall down, but you better get your butt right back up and try again. Know that you are worth every trial, every struggle, and every triumph.

You deserve the stars and the moon. You are worthy and you are valuable. The world benefits from your existence. You have so much to offer and you are going to be light for others to follow. I believe in you.

Your family loves you. Your friends love you. Your community loves you. I love you. You have an amazing gift that will change the world for the better. And I’m so excited for you to succeed. People are always watching you. Not to see you fail, but to watch you kick life in the butt. So give them something worth watching.

Be bold. Be resilient. Pursue your goals. Wake up tomorrow with ambition and work towards it. It's not too late. Take action and do it, regardless of whatever anyone else thinks. Because if you know it’s worth the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice- then why doubt yourself? You can do this, I know it. Know your worth.
